Check – When you click on the ‘Check’ button, the programs checks for the availability of an updated version of the software installed in your system. SUMo keeps you posted with every minor and major update and categorizes them well accordingly.
Scan – It is very easy to use freeware and gets installed in your computer system within a few minutes. After the software gets installed, all you need to do is to click on the ‘Scan’ button and the program will scan your complete system to list the software and applications installed.
Add – The software might not recognize the portable software installed on your system. In that case, you can add the unrecognized software to the program, just by clicking the ‘Add’ button.
Remove/Ignore– if you find some of the updates unnecessary, you can remove or ignore them right by clicking the Remove/Ignore button. Once you ignore an update, it will no longer be displayed in the list.
Get Update – To update your installed software according to the list displayed by SUMo, you just need to double-click on the software and click on Get Update. It will take you to the official website of KC Software listing the various software updates and relevant links for software updates.
NOTE: When you visit its download page, you will see under SUMO, 3-4 different kinds of downloads available. If you click on the blue Download button, you will get a version filled with bundled software. Click on the small button on the right – shown here in this image, by a red arrow – to download the Lite version, which is clean.
