4] Update Outlook to the latest version
Make sure you have the latest version of the Outlook client. If the automatic updates are disabled for some reason, and if the client doesn’t match with the minimum version required for the sync to happen, then you will have the issue. You can check if there is an update available by going to Outlook > File >Office account > Update and select the Update Now from the dropdown.
